LEATHER
. Member will share tips and techniques about working with leather. Can you steam leather? Can you cut the welt pieces with a curved cut? Do you cut cushions panels smaller because of the stretch? What are the different types of leather? Where do you purchase your leather? Did you know PUAM's vendor members sell leather?
Come, share, and learn valuable information about working with leather.
The PUAM meetings are monthly meetings to support each other and to share upholstery knowledge. We’d love to have your input on topics you’d like to have discussed or presented on different upholstery techniques. It is easiest to show techniques in a shop environment but we are open to meeting in rooms provided by restaurants, libraries, community centers, etc. If you have a topic or location that we can use, please contact us at host@upholsterymn.org. Now that we are in the cold weather months, this is a reminder that in the case of inclement weather we will not have in person meetings if any of the Twin City areas cancel schools or after school activities.
